MY ROLE

As the UX Lead, I was responsible for driving end-to-end user experience strategy and execution for a premium digital platform tailored to High Net Worth Investors at Barclays Bank. My role included conducting user research, defining personas, mapping customer journeys, creating wireframes, and collaborating with UI designers and developers. I also contributed to front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Angular components to ensure seamless implementation of design systems and accessibility best practices.

DISCOVERY

We began with an in-depth discovery phase focused on understanding the lifestyle, behaviors, and digital expectations of High Net Worth Investors (HNWI). Through interviews, surveys, and workshops with private banking clients and relationship managers, we uncovered key needs: a desire for personalized insights, seamless digital interactions, transparency in investment performance, and instant access to advisors. We also reviewed competitor platforms and wealth management trends to identify experience gaps and innovation opportunities.

THE SOLUTION

We designed a bespoke Wealth Management Platform for Barclays' HNWI clients that delivers personalized, data-driven experiences. The portal offers dynamic dashboards for portfolio tracking, curated investment opportunities, and secure messaging with advisors. Built with Angular, HTML5, and Bootstrap, it ensures responsive performance, accessibility, and an elegant user interface that reflects Barclays’ premium brand. The platform empowers clients with actionable insights and control, while enabling relationship managers to deliver hyper-personalized services efficiently.
